Mom's always talked about going skydiving and now she's done it! For her 60th birthday, four of us (Mom, Amy, Jeremy, and me) made our first jump from an airplane and safely landed back on the surface of the Earth in one piece. It was total sensory overload and one of the coolest experiences of my life. Mom says she wants to go for her 70th and 80th too!
Here are a few stats from our adventure:
we dropped from 12,000 feet above sea level
we traveled at around 120 mph (for you science geeks out there - http://hypertextbook.com/facts/JianHuang.shtml)
we had another human attached to our backs the whole time.
